Figments of a DuTchess 
I love picking and using herbs fresh from the garden…..lovely fresh looking plants there Marion

What kind of herb is your favorite?

Thyme and Rosemary are the two I use most, and all year round. In the summer I grow Basil among the tomatoes and that’s wonderful while it’s here 🙂

My basil always gets eaten by snails. I have planted a different kind now, hoping it will make a difference.
Rosemary is one of my favorites too. The absolute winner is coriander, though that also didn’t make it in my herb garden.

I Love an herb garden. I need to expand mine a little…so far I only have sage, chives, basil and some Italian Flat Leaf Parsley that really doesn’t look too nice 😦

Only the chive made it through the winter, Morgan. I had to plant the rest anew last week. Go for it! 🙂

Ah but you can grow herbs in a pot on a balcony too, Indira! They only take up little space and add so much to your recipes 🙂

I have few pots in the small balcony, roses were from my tiny garden. I’ll plant some herbs now. Thanks for the suggestion.
