For this weekend’s challenge, I didn’t have to think long.
From spring till fall, my favorite spot is hidden in the back of my garden, surrounded by bushes. And though I don’t have a porch, it still swings.
This swing is the perfect place to sit and contemplate, to read, drink tea and wine. To talk and laugh deep into the night. And on sunny moments, my neighbors in the butterfly bush flutter and fly, or just watch and listen.
What is your favorite spot? I hope you can spend some time there this weekend

Oh I do like your favourite spot, Marion. I have a canvas swing seat that I suspend on our sun roof in the Algarve. I can admire the view for hours.
I can imagine, the Algarve has stunning landscapes. I hope you get to sit there often, even in winter.
It looks very cozy. I love swings.
Do you have a swing too, Christine? Your garden is certainly big enough for it
That really looks just about the perfect spot Marion…
For me it is, Jo. And so is yours, the beautiful beach.
I’m stopping by for tea…wait and see.
* Waits. And waits… *
Nice. Fantastic idea as you can enjoy your garden and spend time outside relaxing
The minute it is warm enough, you can dash outside. Do you have a place like this too, Colline?
Unfortunately no as we live in an apartment.
Perhaps you have a balcony with a nice view then?
Unfortunately not – unless you enjoy looking at rows and rows of concrete buildings. We do, however, visit the nearby parks.
Having parks nearby is a good thing.
Great choices of images my friend thanks for sharing
If you’re ever in the neighborhood, Jake, you’re welcome to share my swing

Wonderful porch swing. A perfect place.
Of course there are many more places that are lovely, but this one I can enjoy every day. I’m on my way to see yours… Have a sunny Sunday, Judy
Marion,
I nominated you for The Sunshine Award.

The Sunshine Award, that sounds so merry and sunny
Thank you so much, Sued, that is highly appreciated. Thank you for thinking of Figments and for liking it! But alas I can’t accept the award. Hugs, please take a look at the ‘About / contact’ section, I have explained it there.
Lovely post. That butterfly is gorgeous.
Colorful creatures of summer they are
I need to work on my garden next year so my favourite spot can be right here!!!
It’s so nice to have a place where you can relax near the house. Want me to help out with the garden?
What a perfect place to let the mind wander
It really is, Vibeke.
