Very unique photo, Marion…you are quite creative.
I’m following your blog now…hope you’ll come and visit mine: http://viviankirkfield.wordpress.com/2012/09/23/sunday-post-people-who-are-the-most-important-people-in-your-life/
And I just did. Sorry for the delay, I’m delving through my many, many e-mails. I need vacation more often
I know…the best vacation is the one where you don’t go anywhere or do anything in particular…just have time to be.
You think so too?
That is great to hear, Vivan!
My partner (LAT) asked me Wednesday what I had done this week, and I replied with ‘Absolutely nothing, only stuff I wanted to do! Like read, write, cook.’. He rolled his eyes but said nothing hehehe.
These days, most people are so over-scheduled and overwhelmed with too many responsibilities and obligations. Daydreaming is under-rated…and I think it is important sometimes to just ‘be’. And when we take the time to do what we love (whether it is cooking or reading or writing or walking or…), we are feeding our inner-self…so so so important! Otherwise, we are starved and cannot give freely and lovingly to others.
I fully agree with that, Vivian. We need time to recharge; our batteries can not be used full time.

love it Marion…reminds me of a photographic exhibition I went to here for a Kiwi photographer Brian Brake. One of the images they had was his shot of all the photographers taking Queen Elizabeth’s photo for the coronation…it was my favourite I think.

Thanks for the link, I’m on my way to take a look. Have a lovely weekend, Jo.
I intend to. The children are home as it is a long weekend. I get to cook for them. Yea !!!!
That is great, enjoy! What food will you prepare? And say hi to them?
My family (parents, brother and sister with their families) is coming over tomorrow for a ‘Dutchess Thanksgiving’, a tradition in the make – last year was the first. We will go to the woods, to walk, talk and take photos. Then back to my house for a couple of games and supper! So looking forward to that too.
What a novel idea, Marion.
A fun photo, right?
Absolutely.
Thought it was a photographer’s convention, Marion.
Hehehe, no, it wasn’t
Excellent work Marion ,I really love your entry for this week theme ,Thanks for sharing
Hi Jake, thanks for visiting
What are they all shooting? This is a fun photo Mar!
It was, I couldn’t resist the temptation to reverse my camera. Here is the original target: lady birds on stilts, a photo on my Dutch blog.
Yes, I’ve seen that post before
. These bugs are weird
They are
Their mimicry was admirable: they didn’t smile for one second during the act.
I guess they take themselves seriously
